Announcing the 2018 Asia Pacific Open Memory Championships

Registration for the 2nd Asia Pacific Open Memory Championships in Hong Kong on 27th -28th August 2018 is now Open!

  1. Introduction

The Asia Pacific Open Memory Championships is the highest levelmemorycompetition in the Asia Pacific region organized by the Asia Pacific Memory Sports Council (APMSC). Competitors from all over the world will compete for the honor of “Asian Master Of Memory” as well as the high prize funds and trophies. The outstanding competitors who meet the specified standards will be awarded the prestigious title of “Asian Master Of Memory”!

II.Prizes and Awards

A total of HK$30,000.

There are also various prizes for awards.

III.Time and Location of the Competition

Location for competition: Juxian Hall, 1/F, Regal Hotel, Sha Tin, Hong Kong

Location for registration: Lobby, 1/F, Regal Hotel, 34-36 Tai Chung Kiu Road, Sha Tin, Hong Kong

Registration time: 16:00-21:00 on August 26, 2018

Opening time: 08:15-08:45 on August 27, 2018

Competition time: August 27-28, 2018 (two days)

  1. Standards for Asian Master Of Memory

The title of Asian Master Of Memory will be awarded if all of the following four standards are met:

1 Memorize 700 random numbers in 30 minutes

2 Memorize 7 decks of playing cards in 30 minutes

3 Memorize 1 deck of playing cards in 70 seconds

4 Score at least 4,000 points in Asia Pacific Open Memory Championships
